Villiers’ Vague Utopia – Spring is Coming

Vague Utopia

As seen in Pegasus Pages, March 2013.

Issy is back with more melodies for the soul to contrast with this miserable weather and get you ready for spring.

What Issy’s Listening to this Week:

Go on a picnic, whip out the tartan blanket, and kick back with your Easter eggs to these tunes:

1) Tom Odell – Another Love

Fact: The first song he wrote was about a spider that lived on his windowsill.

2) Foals – Inhaler

Fact: Yannis admires both Frank Ocean and A$AP Rocky’s suaveness and sense of style.

3) The Maccabees – Love You Better

Fact: The Maccabees came with up their wondrous name by leafing through… the Bible.

4) Kings of Convenience – Boat Behind

Fact: These two charming chaps are from the beautiful city of Bergen, Norway.

5) Swim Deep – King City

Fact: They are inspired by One Direction and met the young band in Morrisons.

6) Alt-J – Something Good

Fact: On holidays to Cornwall in his youth frontman Joe would have the Spice Girls on repeat.

7) Zulu Winter – Silver Tongue

Fact: The band runs a blog (zuluwinter.blogspot.com) and their posts are delightfully diverting.
